Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, and having spent many years in Massachusetts before settling in Dallas nearly a decade ago, Marianna Zimmerman brings an East Coast energy, bold ideas, and a fearless design perspective to every project she creates!
After graduating from QC Design School in 2001, Marianna became a Certified Interior Designer and later earned her ASP Home Stager certification in 2009. With over 20 years of experience and an unwavering passion for creating beautiful, livable spaces, and with a little push from her husband and biggest fan, she launched The BEST is yet to come DESIGNS in 2011, turning her vision into a full-service design studio built on creativity, intention, and heart.
Whether you want a neutral, sophisticated, more polished look OR crave something bold, edgy, and completely bespoke, Marianna believes great design goes far beyond creating pretty rooms, it’s about crafting a home that reflects your story, your lifestyle, and the way you want to live. Known for transforming outdated spaces into fresh, modern interiors full of character and soul, she’s passionate about making luxury feel both attainable and deeply personal.
A self-proclaimed accessory fanatic, she loves finding that needle in the haystack, that one “wow” piece that anchors a room and leaves her unmistakable signature on every project. Marianna believes that her east coast edge & bold creativity is what sets her apart and makes her a true & trusted collaborator, someone who listens, understands, and pushes design beyond the expected!

Beyond the titles, Marianna’s most cherished roles are wife to her husband and biggest fan (Kevin), proud mom, and Nonna to her beloved grandchildren. A self-proclaimed pizza connoisseur and coffee lover, she’s always up for a good boxing match, a spontaneous getaway, or a day spent surrounded by the people she loves most.
When she’s not designing dream spaces or volunteering on the weekends, you’ll usually find her- coffee in hand, treasure-hunting through décor shops for hidden gems or cozied up at home with Kevin and (her biggest baby) their rescue pup, Buckeye!
